July 2014 Tarotscope

thesunThat was one gnarly Mercury retrograde, wasn’t it?! Though it went direct on July 1st, it hasn’t given up trying our souls, yet. Well, at least the weather has been consistently warm enough for us to enjoy the fact that it’s at last Summer (at least it is in the Northern hemisphere). After such an intense June, let’s all give thanks for the rewards reaped and the lessons learned. Now—it’s time to follow the lead of school kids and PLAY. We don’t do enough of that and since we’re such a regimented world, we need to take out our appointment books and schedule regular relaxation and playtimes. We’ll be much more delighted with ourselves if we do.

Your message for this month is grouped together with cards of the same mode of energy expression.  The communal spirit of the gathered energy of each mode of expression will help to dynamically support you and your efforts during this prolific Summer season.

THE EMPEROR (March 21 – April 20), THE CHARIOT (June 21 – July 20), JUSTICE (September 23 – October 22) and THE WORLD (December 22 – January 19) The energy of your mode of expression is action and activity oriented. lf your birthdate is represented by one of these four cards, your world is changing fast. All four of you have been called to the front of the class and told to demonstrate the processes of mandatory transformation and insightful acknowledgement and acceptance of the need for a new perspective on and in your lives. It’s kind of an open book test, though, since all you have to do is surrender to the inevitable and flow with what you know in your heart is the correct way to go. It’s pretty widely known that human beings love resisting and hate change. That stance isn’t likely to help you now. Your best bet is to surrender to what must be done and give yourself permission to embrace the changes and go with them. The Universe will love you for that and unexpected rewards will come your way. Your mantra is “All great truths began as blasphemies,” by George Bernard Shaw.

THE EMPRESS (April 21 – May 20), THE SUN (July 21 – August 22), THE MAGICIAN (October 23 – November 21) and THE STAR (January 20 – February 19) The energy of your mode of expression is steadfastness and determination. Now is the time to go to your dictionary, open it to the word ‘should,’ cut it out of the book and burn it. The pressure you’re feeling these days is there for a reason—that’s how precious gems are made—with a steady pressure of positive intention by the natural forces of the world. Though the old rules still apply, your innate ability to focus on what and who are of real value to you and your current direction are what you must pay attention to. Ignore the distraction of the fancy bells and whistles as you pay close attention to your intuition and forge your new path. Others will have pretty persuasive opinions about how and what you do, but it’s up to you to take the incremental steps of faith required to land you in the right place (for yourself) at the right time. As unfamiliar as all of this is to you, if you are true to your process, you will love the way things turn out. Your mantra is “He dares to be a fool, and that is the first step in the direction of wisdom,” by James Gibbons Huneker.

THE LOVERS (May 21 – June 20), THE HERMIT (August 23 – September 22), THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE (November 22 – December 21) and THE MOON (February 20 – March 20) The energy of your mode of expression is found in the way you gather and process information and communicate your discoveries with others and yourself. As important and reassuring as ‘factual proof’ is, at this time in your life, its value has sharply decreased. You must lead and follow-through with intuition. Your intuition or hunches are of priceless value to you—they are directing you to previously undiscovered truths that will dynamically shift the way you move through life. Pay attention to your dreams and the recurrence of certain numbers in your life—they’re sign posts providing you with otherwise unobtainable valuable information and pointing you in directions you might not have been aware of. The comforting factual confirmation you seek will only appear at the end of your ‘expedition of trust.’ Your mantra is “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant,” by Albert Einstein.
